Bankers Meet 2025

 Under the auspices of the Idukki District Industries Centre, a 'District Level Bankers Meet' was organized on February 26, 2026, at the Cheruthoni Police Co-operative Society Hall. The program commenced at 10:00 AM. Shri. Francis Araykkaparambil, Honorable Standing Committee Chairman for Public Works, Idukki District Panchayat, inaugurated the meeting. Smt. Lisiamma Samuel, General Manager of the Idukki District Industries Centre, presided over the event and delivered the keynote address. Shri. Suresh P. R., Manager at the Idukki District Industries Centre, welcomed the gathering. Shri. Santhosh S. K., Manager at the Idukki District Industries Centre, offered felicitations. The event was anchored by Shri. Shaiju C., Clerk at the Idukki District Industries Centre. Smt. Rekha C. K., Junior Superintendent at the Idukki District Industries Centre, expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the program.

Following this, Shri. Vishakh P. S., Assistant District Industries Officer at the Idukki District Industries Centre, conducted a session on “Technical and Financial Entrepreneurial Schemes of the Department of Industries,” and Shri. Nithin K., Senior Manager at Union Bank, Kottayam Region, led a session on “Banking, Entrepreneurial Loans, and Procedures.”

Around 125 entrepreneurs and representatives from 7 different banks operating in Cheruthoni participated. After lunch, a discussion regarding entrepreneurial loans was held with representatives from the various banks, and the doubts of the entrepreneurs were clarified.

The program concluded by 4:00 PM.
