Pathanamthitta, June 27 – The District Industries Centre (DIC) of Pathanamthitta observed International MSME Day with a special event to celebrate the contributions of the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. The function was held at the District Industries Centre.

A key highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of senior entrepreneurs and accomplished handicraft experts for their significant and long-standing contributions to the local industry. Those honoured during the ceremony included Abraham Kunjukutty, Philipose, Sunny, Gopakumar, and P.K. Vasu.

In addition to the ceremony, the DIC also organised a training session for local entrepreneurs. A class focusing on the crucial topic of Digital Marketing was conducted to help business owners adapt to modern market trends and expand their reach.

The event underscored the vital role of the MSME sector in the district's economy and the DIC's commitment to supporting its growth.
